Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you open a page, Vercel's servers automatically process the data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and to keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is kept by Vercel for a short period and then deleted. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and bound by a data processing agreement. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Access protection
Parts of this site may be protected by a password. The password is checked by the server for each request and is not stored in a cookie or anywhere else on your device.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media plug-ins. Fonts, photos and videos are delivered from this site itself, so your browser contacts no third party to display them. Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and other sites are plain links; those sites process your data only once you open them, under their own privacy notices.
Contact by email
If you email me, I keep your message and address to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when the conversation is over, unless I have to keep them for legal reasons.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To exercise them, email the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
